This is a gallery blog for Albanian born painter Minela Tanellari (Menelaus Tanellari). Tanellari was born in 1943, in the South Albania’s city of Permet. A city well known for its contribution to the cultural heritage of today’s Albania. He graduated from the artistic high school in 1964 and awarded with the third place in the concourse of 35th year of national independence and the second one in the concourse of the 40th year celebration too. He had his first personal exhibition in 1984 and the second one in 1986. He has been awarded with the highest honor award of his country, namely the Naim Frasheri award, two times. Paintings of him are preserved in the collections of the national gallery of Albania, and in various foreign cities’ galleries as well. He has works sold in personal collectors in countries as Germany, France, Greece, U.S.A etc, also. In recent years he lives and works in Athens, Greece and he has painted various murals.
